Julus-e-Aza at Bandra

Last night, there was a Julus-e-Aza at Bandra west, Bazar Road. It started from Mehfil-e-Panjatan after Maulana Riyaz Mucadam recited Majlis and terminated at Bandra Jam'e Masjid. More than 8 Anjumans participated. The Julus had a shabeeh of Zuljanah and a Tabut. Anjuman-e-Yadgar-e-Mahdi, Anjuman-e-Dargah-e-Abul Fazlil Abbas, Anjuman-e-Ya Ali (Kurla), Anjuman-e-Husaini (Malony, Malad), Anjuman-e-Ghuncha-e-Mo'jeza-e-Husain, Anjuman-e-Asgharya (Bombay), Tanzeem-e-Zahra, Anjuman-e-Saqqa-e-Haram etc. participated in Nauha and Matam. Hundreds of Azadars wearing black clothes walked along with the Julus.

Shabbedaari at Rizvi Baugh, Mumbra

For the last 23 years, Idara-e-Shahe Khurasan is organising a Shabbedaari at Rizvi Baugh, Mumbra. This year the programme started with the Majlis recited by Mr. Hashmat Rizvi who has a God gifted quality of doing zikre Imam Husayn (a.s.), though he has not been to any madrasah or any seminary. Hashmat spoke on "Remembering Ali (a.s.) is worship."
Four Anjumans are invited for doing nauha and matam. About 400 people attended the Majlis.

Majalis at Mira Road

There is a Ashra-e-Majalis (Ten Majalis) going on in Haidery Imambada, Mira Road. Starts at 9pm and the speaker is Maulana Sayed Manazir Akhtar Saheb of Fatehpur, Kurra Sadaat (UP). He is discussing on Imam-e-Zamaana (a.s.). For detail call to Janab Shahid Husain Naqvi 9224146005.

Shia Ulama Condemn Blasphemous Cartoons

Committee of Shia Ulama in the United Kingdom strongly condemns the blasphemous cartoons which were published in Danish and other European publications. Publishing such blasphemous cartoons will harm the harmony in the societies, and cause great outrage among over one and half billion of Muslims all over the world.

It can not be justified by the excuse of freedom of expression as that freedom should not harm the feelings of others; otherwise it will turn to indiscipline which can endanger the harmony and co-existence. Danish and other European governments need to have a legislation preventing such violations.

We are sorry to see the response of few Muslim youngsters in attacking and burning, which fails to fit the Islamic standards, and urge all Muslim leaders to try to control over Muslim masses' emotions and keep them within the Islamic principles. Nevertheless, European governments should avoid allowing any act which can instigate public feelings and lead to unwanted situation.

We call for a clear definition of freedom of expression, which must keep it away from attacking or harming the religious feelings.

Matam-e-Rasool and Jigar Gosha-e-Rasool (a.s.)

The day of the Wafaat of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) and the Martyrdom of Imam Hasan (a.s.) falls on 28th Safar i.e. tomorrow. A Juloos to commemorate this sad and sorrowful occasion Anjuman-e-Azadaran-e-Husain (Moghul Masjid) has organised a Majlis at Haidery Imambadah at 8.00 pm. Then the Juloos started from that Imambada for Imamia Masjid passing through the streets of Zainabia, Moghul Masjid.
More than 8 Anjumans participated in this Juloos. One of the Anjuman has come from Saki Naka, Andheri. Its members belong to Ahle Sunnat sect. They did matam and recited nauhas. If there is Juloos in our city, definitly there will be Feroze Shakir, the photographer no.1 also. He was clicking the photographs of Azadaars, Shabeeh and Alam bearers.

Juloos at Mumbra on 28th Safar

On the occasion of the wafaat of our beloved Holy Prophet (pbuh) and martyrdom of Imam Hasan (a.s.), Anjuman-e-Sahebuz Zamaan (a.s.) has organised a Juloos in Mumbra on Friday 7th March which will start from Sohana Compound exactly at 10.00 in the morning and will terminate at Shia Qabrastan before Namaz-e-Zohrayn. After namaz niyaz has been arranged. Maulana Riyaz Moqadam will lead this Juloos. Azadaars are requested to be at Sohana Compound on time. This is the 5th year of the juloos. All are invited.
