Below is the reply of Hujjatul Islam wal Muslimeen Sayed Muhammad al-Musawi (m.z.a.) to refute the propaganda against Association of Imam Mahdi (a.s.) by some motivated and misguided individuals.

WABIL website responds to questions regarding Islamic faith and practice, hence I am responding to this matter from another email.
1- I did not come to India to help the A.I.M, but to help all Momineen as it is my religious duty. I even did not know that there was such problem in Mumbai or Gujarat, but when I was informed after arrival, it became my duty to try to resolve the matter.
2- I have seen and gone through the syllabus of A.I.M. and did not see any thing wrong in it. I have announced in the public calling for any one who has any objectional matter in the sylladus, but no one turned up.
3- The meeting in Mumbai was attended by the main persons concerned from Bhavnagar, Mahvua and Mumbai. In that meeting I suggested to both parties (AIM and their opponants) to send the full syllabus of AIM to Ayatullah Seestani's office to go through it and inform Momineen if any thing wrong in the syllabus is been found. The syllabus was sent and nothnig wrong was reported.
4- The letter of Ayatullah Makarim Shirazi does not mean every one or group who preach the love and following of Imam Mahdi (AJF), but those groups who misuse this holy matter. Can you ask Ayatullah Makarim Shirazi about the Syllabus of AIM and get from him that it contains any wrong teaching?
5- I do not say that all the teachers of AIM are with out faults, as all of us are not Masoom, and you can not blame an association which is teaching our youngsters Islam and Real Faith of Ahlul Bayt (AS) because of the mistakes of few teachers, otherwise we have to close down all Dini Talim Maktabs all over the world till we find infallible teachers. I always inssist on rectifying the mistakes and keeping the teachers and students under the rules of Islamic spiritual purification. If you find repeated mistake from any teacher, you must report it to get things rectified.
6- Your suggestion about a public meeting about this matter can be discussed with the persons concerned, but I do hope that the real intitaitive be for the sake of Allah (SWT) and not to oppose or support for political reasons.
7- I dont find any matter of rich or poor in the classes as poor and rich are equally attending and getting useful knowledge and Tarbiyat.
8- I wonder why did you hide your name? I invite you to come out with your name as the matter is a religious and social and does not need hiding your identity.
May Allah (SWT) guide all Momineen to the Right Path and keep them on it, and remove Satanic disputes from them.

WE HUMBLLY PUT SOME QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU AND HOPE YOU WILL REPLY

(1) AFTER 1991 i.e. THE YEAR YOU LEFT INDIA THERE WERE MANY UNTOWARDS INCIDENTS LIKE FLOOD, EARTHQUAKE, COMMUNAL RIOTS ETC. BUT
UNFORTUNATELY YOU DIDNOT VISIT INDIA AND CARE THE MOMENIN. BUT AS AND
WHEN ASSOCIATION OR SYED AHMEDALI ABEDI (BOTH FROM BOMBAY- INDIA) WERE
IN TROUBLE YOU LENDED INDIA TO PROTECT THEM.
(2) WE HAVE HEARD THAT YOU WERE ASKED REGARDING ATTENDING THE
CLASSES RUN BY ASSOCIATION OF IMAM MAHDI (a.s.) OF MUMBAI. YOU REPLIED
THAT THERE IS NO OBJECTION. WE HUMBLY ASK YOU AS AN AALIME DIN DID YOU
EVER CARE TO GO THROUGH THE SYLLABUS OF THE SAME ASSOCIATION? DO YOU
KNOW WHETHER THE TEACHERS OF ASSO. HAVE PROPER ILM AND AKHLAQ AS PER
SHIA FIQH. DO YOU KNOW THAT SAID SO CALLED TEACHERS HAVE CREATED MANY
CONTROVERSY IN SHIA ESPECIALLY KHOJA SHIA ISNAASHERI FAMILIES OF
MAHRASHTRA AND GUJARAT? DO YOU KNOW THE SHIA COMMUNITY IS DIVIDING DUE TO SAID SO CALLED CLASSES RUN BY PARTICULAR RICH PEOPLE BEHIND CLOSED
DOORS?

(4) One pamphlet was published in Hindi, Gujarati and English recently in Kurla (Mumbai) mentioning the fatwa of ayatullah nasir makarim shirazi. It is clearly mentioned that all the shia should keep away from this MEHDIVIYYAT sect. Do you not agrree with the fatwa of ayatollah nasir makarim shirazi or not?
(5) WE HAVE READ THE PAMPHLETS DATED 16-11-2007 WITH YOUR SIGNATURE AND HANDWRITINGS MENTIONING THAT YOU CALLED SOME UNKNOWN PEOPLE AT MUMBAI ON 9-11-2007 AND HELD MEETINGS WITH THEM. MOST OF THE
PEOPLE WERE UNKNOWN AND UNINFORMED ABOUT ASSOCIATION. WHY NOT A SINGLE PERSON FROM MUMBAI, AHMEDABAD, BHAVNAGR OR MAHUVA WAS INVITED TO DISCUSS THE QUESTIONS AND QUERRIES WITH YOU? WE HAVE HEARD THAT YOU
WERE FAVOURING THE ASSOCIATION AND MAULAN ABEDI. IS IT RIGHT ISLAMIC
WAY TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM? DID ANY OF OUR MASOOM ADOPT SUCH STYLE? IS
IT POSSIBLE TO SOLVE THE QUESTION BURNING FROM YEAR WITHIN MINUTES?
PLEASE EXPLAIN.... ALL THE METHOD AND ACTIVITIES ARE DOUBTFUL AND NOT
MATCHING WITH ISLAMIC RULES.

CLOSED DOORS UNDER THE BANNER OF ASSOCIATION OR MAZAHABI TALIM ? IS IT
A SECRET WORK? IF NOT WHY HIDDEN AND LIMITED FOR RICH AND INFLUENCED
PEPOPLE?
